ABOUT THE 10K PROJECTS SPRING 2021 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

We want our interns to walk away from the program with a well rounded understanding of the inner workings of our label, and real world experience in the music business. Since a college degree isn’t required to be successful in the music industry, our program is open to everyone, not just those enrolled in a college program.
Additionally, 10K Together is on a mission to support the Black Lives Matter movement and uplift creatives of color by facilitating more opportunities within the music industry, both in Los Angeles and throughout the US. We will be dedicating up to two of these internship opportunities to music industry hopefuls consistent with the goals of the BLM movement.

Requirements
College students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Non-college applicants must submit a resume reflecting their current involvement in music.
Each applicant must submit a 3-paragraph essay stating their music industry goals and why they’d be a good fit for this internship.
Details
Each intern will be paid
Each intern will work up to 20 hours/week
The program will last 10 weeks
Each intern will choose a department in which to focus their work in (A&R, A&R Admin, Marketing, Publicity, Creative, *Business & Legal Affairs, Production)
*Internships in the Business & Legal Affairs department are semester-long internship assignments open to current law students
